An Incredible Pretzel-Making Experience at Zum Bauer! 🥨 Our pretzel-making class at Zum Bauer was an incredible experience and a highlight of our trip to Germany! We had so much fun learning the art of making traditional Bavarian pretzels Lena was our incredible instructor, from shaping the dough to choosing our own toppings. The experience was hands-on, entertaining, and delicious! It was wonderful to learn something new while enjoying a taste of Bavarian culture. We left with wonderful memories, new skills, and, of course, delicious pretzels. This is a must-do experience for anyone visiting the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area. I highly recommend it!

Lena did a wonderful job. She definitely was a knowledgeable expert, and also very personable. And genuine.  And made us feel like we were capable of success.   We loved the story of her learning to bake from her grandfather. And the intimacy of a four-person group.  The large variety of
Toppings was and unexpected surprise!

Our group of 10 had the absolute best time at our pretzel-making class! The sweet lady who led our class was so much fun and made the whole experience even better. Jake, the owner, stopped in later and shared some of the history of the area with us, which was such a cool added bonus. Such a quaint little shop with great food, drinks, atmosphere, and people.
